Original Song: Credit Where It's Due — Living With My Mistakes

Here’s another song of mine.

This one has a kind of Dua Lipa vibe which I’m digging. Your mileage may vary…

I imagine this one having a reggaeton kind of beat behind it. I considered putting one there, but I didn’t have time in the end. I’ve overlaid a second set of vocals because (as usual) my mic setup caused problems…in this case with the low and husky vocals being lost in the super-bassy uke sound. I’m actually really stoked about how it came out in the end with the extra vocals though, so that’s pretty cool.

I’m looking forward to developing this one more as my sound skills improve, and I’ve got loads of ideas about layers of vocals that could make it really interesting :D
